I would like to talk about my achievement – with the help of the knowledge gained via the course (PGDM Ex – Business Analytics), I was able to utilize and showcase the proficiency. Firstly, I completed the final semester project with my earlier organization using Marketing Analytics and highlighted recommendations for the future. Secondly and most importantly was being able to switch my career from ‘Technical Program Management’ to ‘Disruptive Innovation & Strategy’. For my current organization, I was initially hired to lead a wonderful team of Technical Analytics specialized in the area of Supply Chain and Manufacturing. While my transition from an industry agnostic product development career of 14-years towards a healthcare / pharmaceutical domain specific needs for Analytics was in progress, an exciting opportunity of Strategy & Innovation reached me.
Answering the call by participating in a global hackathon of internal associates (100,000) was not easy but getting selected from the top 50 was very rewarding. I now play a part of Creator (a designation that would have been possible for Brahma – as my father states it), leading the face of disruptive innovation and strategy for business services. We at NBSX (Novartis Business Services X) are reimagining how we do business and always look how to bring in 10X or exponential change in value, benefit, experience. We constantly learn from the ecosystem and embrace innovation to steer toward industry 4.0.
